• 1968 STONE HYDRAULIC INDUSTRIES, INC. was founded in Rockford (USA, Illinois) by Herb Stone. Stone Hydraulics developed and manufactured a line of high quality hydraulic power units.
• 1980 Fenner PLC purchased the company and expanded their market to Europe.
• 1986 Fenner Stone fully integrated into Fenner Fluid Power.
• 2000 SPX Corporation purchased Fenner Fluid Power. The STONE Hydraulics brand is combined with Power Team, Hytec, and Globe Air Motors to SPX Fluid Power.
